Production info and concept A Crime to Remember is an award-winning historic true-crime documentary from Investigation Discovery that has been on the air since 2013. It is currently in its fourth season that debuted on December 6, 2016. Also known as The Bad Old Days, the show hails from Xcon Productions and is executive produced by Lee Beckett, Christine Connor, Christopher Dillon and Thomas Cutter. The show focuses on notorious criminal cases spanning several decades from 1930s to 1970s, reenacting them in a very cinematographically careful, film-like manner. Violent, terrifying stories are told in a compelling manner that transports the viewers right into the situation with the historical details and through “inside” narration by one of the minor characters involved in the case. Excellent reviews and chances of renewal Over one million viewers tuned in to see the current fourth season premiere, earning A Crime to Remember a 0.25 demo rating. Three weeks later the audience is finding the show just as interesting, and the numbers are right on par with the first episode.
